honda fit hybrid maintenance and service schedule

The following guidance assumes you’re driving your car in “normal” conditions, as defined by Honda. There is a distinct maintenance plan for drivers who spend the bulk of their time driving in “difficult” conditions. See below for Honda’s definition of severe.

General Maintenance:

  1. Every 5,000 km or 6 months: Replace engine oil and oil filter
  2. Every 35,000 to 40,000 km: Replace Dual Clutch and Transmission Oil
  3. Check oil and coolant at each fuel stop
  4. At 50,000 km: Inspect valve clearance
  5. Every 10,000 km: Replace air filter
  6. Check tire inflation and condition at least once per month
